First Day of School!

Tayler and I started back to school after a fun summer break! Tayler started at her new "school" and is starting to get adjusted to her new schedule. I on the other hand, still wish it was summer break! I've added pictures of this time last year of our first day of school, to show what a difference a year makes!

Movin' on up!

Matt and I had been looking to move for awhile. We started looking back in November of 2008 as we started getting cramped for space. It seemed like Tayler's toys were only getting bigger, and she had stuff everywhere!! It wasn't until the end of March that we got serious and had my mom put our house on the market. We figured we would have a couple of months of showing ours and would have plenty of time to find the perfect home. However, much to our surprise we sold our house in 7 days!! Nothing like stressing us out! We had no where to move and we closed on our house in 3 weeks! For a week straight we looked, and looked and looked! Finally, we found what we were looking for and it was brand new and ready for us to move in! So, here we are in a brand new house and loving it! We moved out east to a sub-division called Beacon Point. For those who are aware of the area, we are next to the Aurora Reservoir. It's very quiet and peaceful out here and we have tons of space! Not to mention, Tayler has her own bedroom and her own play room! Nothing like spoiling her at only a year old! So here are some photos of our new house. Tayler's 1st Birthday party! Wow, what a great time we had celebrating such a happy day. Both Matt and I can't believe our little girl is 1! Time does fly when your having fun. Thank you to all of our family and friends who helped us celebrate this wonderful day!

Long time no blog!

Wow! Has it really been that long since I've blogged!?! Time has gotten away from me! March was a crazy month with preparing for Tayler's 1st Birthday, April was busy with packing up our house, and May was even busier with moving into our new house! Hopefully I can start catching everyone up to what we've been doing. I should have no excuse as I start my summer break next week! I should have plenty of time to blog, that's if Tayler and I aren't out having fun in the sun! :)

Guess who's walking?!

For the past week Tayler has been taking steps on her own. Each day she would go a little further, but by now she is walking around the whole house!! She gets so excited and even claps for herself! We are so proud of her, especially since she is only 11 months old! We think by her birthday she will probably be running!

We've had such nice weather that it seems pointless to stay inside and play. So we've been visiting the park and going on walks. Tayler enjoys swinging like a big girl and walking around the playground. Her favorite part is when someone walks by with a dog and she points and shouts "DOG!"

Tayler's New Earrings!!

Mommy and Grandma took Tayler to LolliLocks today to have her ears punched! She was calm while they did it, but started to cry once they were done. They gave her a certificate for her braveness and she looks so darn cute with her new sparkly earrings!
